CONSULTATIVE MEETING BETWEEN PS NJOGU AND THE PRESIDENT OF RED ROPE MOVEMENT IN INDIA

@Diaspora_KE Principal Secretary @roselinenjogu, held a productive meeting with Ms. Chrysolyte Sanamanda, President and Founder of the Red Rope Movement, an NGO based in India that specializes in the rehabilitation, repatriation, empowerment, and reintegration of victims of human trafficking.
The discussions focused on exploring collaborative strategies to protect and promote the rights and welfare of Kenyan diaspora members who have fallen victim to human trafficking.
PS Njogu commended the Red Rope team for their commendable efforts in rescuing affected individuals and providing trauma-informed counseling, which has been instrumental in helping survivors recover and rebuild their lives.
The PS also emphasized the importance of raising awareness among Kenyan girls about the risks of falling prey to fraudulent job offers in India, which often result in cases of human trafficking. #KenyaInIndia#DiasporaFirst
