INVESTMENT: DIASPORA AFFAIRS PS HOLDS DISCUSSIONS WITH DR. ADITYA OF THE RESERVE BANK OF INDIA.

Diaspora Affairs PS @roselinenjogu held a meeting with Dr. Aditya Gaiha, Chief General Manager-in-Charge, Foreign Exchange Department of the Reserve Bank of India.
In the meeting, discussions revolved around sharing best practices from India's initiatives like the Rupee Drawing Arrangements (RDA) and the Non-Resident Indians(NRI) banking schemes, aimed at bolstering remittance flows.
They also deliberated on how to facilitate investment by the diaspora in their home country, which could inform similar initiatives for Kenya’s diaspora and opportunities to invest in diverse sectors of the economy.
The PS was accompanied by Amb. Peter Munyiri, Kenya’s High Commissioner to India and officials from @Diaspora_KE.
