REVIEWING THE FINANCIAL YEAR 2024/2025

Thursday, February 20, 2025(NAIROBI)__Diaspora Affairs PS, Ms. Roseline K. Njogu, CBS,  appeared before the National Assembly’s Departmental Committee on Defence, Intelligence, and Foreign Relations to present the State Department for Diaspora Affairs’ budget proposals in line with the 2025 Budget Policy Statement (BPS).

In the session chaired by Hon. Nelson Koech, MP for Belgut and Chairperson of the Committee, PS Njogu outlined key achievements and activities undertaken by the department during the financial year 2024/25 and highlighted the challenges faced during this period.

PS Njogu was accompanied by senior officials from SDDA, including Amb. Isaiya Kabira (Secretary for Investments & Entrepreneurship), Amb. Hellen Gichuhi (Secretary for Welfare & Partnerships), Mr. Daniel Mwaura (Director and Head of Planning), Mr. Gideon Gichana (Chief Finance Officer) and Mr. Obiero Makori, (Director and Head/SCM).
