HERNIA MEDICAL CAMP IN MERU COUNTY: DIASPORA BACK-TO-THE-COMMUNITY INITIATIVE

The State Department for Diaspora Affairs (SDDA) team led by Amb. Ann Wanjohi, alongside the Hernia International surgical team led by Dr. Heidi Miller, held a meeting with the Acting CEO of MeTRH, Dr. Moriasi Leah, and heads of the departments in the health facility.
They were also taken on an extensive tour of the hospital to familiarize themselves with the main structures ahead of the free hernia surgery medical camp.
Amb. Wanjohi, flanked by her team, reiterated the need for this partnership between the diaspora and local healthcare institutions.
Speaking on behalf of PS @roselinenjogu, Balozi Wanjohi lauded the effort of the UK-based Kenyan, Mr. Peter Karanja and every Kenyan Diaspora that gives back to the society through such initiatives.
The SDDA team included Mr. Kyovi Mutua, Director of Partnerships, Mr. Okaka Etyang-Administration, Ms. Auma Aluodo-FSO, Ms. Rebecca Mueni-FSO, Mr. Dennis Kiogora-Administration, and Ms. Priscilla Achieng'-PCO. #Hernia #MedicalCamp
