HIGH-LEVEL CONSULTATIVE FORUM TO REVIEW KENYA'S FOREIGN POLICY

Diaspora Affairs PS Ms. Roseline Kathure Njogu and the Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs leadership led by H.E Musalia Mudavadi, Prime Cabinet Secretary joined H.E. Dr. William Ruto, President of the Republic of Kenya, at the high-level consultative forum to review Kenya's Foreign Policy at the Kenyatta International Convention Center (KICC).
Speaking on the diaspora pillar of the Kenya Foreign Policy, PS Njogu highlighted that the pillar has laid a solid foundation for the expanded engagement of the State Department for Diaspora Affairs and that the focus on Diaspora matters has taken a robust and impactful trajectory since its establishment.
The PS reiterated the prospects of the foreign policy and what it can achieve for the country and its people both in Kenya and abroad.
PS Njogu highlighted achievements by the State Department for Diaspora Affairs including the Mobile Consular Services (MCS), repatriation and evacuation as well as the vision for the Kenyan Diaspora.
The event was attended by Deputy President Prof. Kithure Kindiki, Cabinet Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, ranking senior officers of the Foreign Service, state and non-state stakeholders
