Tuesday, March 11, 2025(NAIROBI)__The Welfare & Rights Division of the State Department for Diaspora Affairs, led by Ms. Emma Gicheha, Director and Head of the Division, held a consultative meeting today with officials from Kenya Airways Cargo, represented by Ms. Lois Mbewa.

 

The discussions centered on the repatriation of mortal remains, focusing on the procedures involved and the roles of various stakeholders in facilitating the process.

 

Ms. Mbewa provided detailed insights into the repatriation process, emphasizing the necessary steps and coordination required to ensure smooth and dignified handling of mortal remains.
