EMGWEN MP PAYS A COURTESY CALL ON PS NJOGU

Hon. Josses Lelmengit , the MP for Emgwen Constituency in Nandi County, today paid a courtesy call on PS Roseline Kathure Njogu, CBS, at the State Department for Diaspora.
The meeting centered on exploring ways to create employment opportunities for Kenyan youth abroad.
PS Njogu, during the discussion, highlighted the government's commitment to tackling youth unemployment through labor migration initiatives, which align with the government's three-point strategy: generating job opportunities in Kenya, facilitating online opportunities, and securing positions for Kenyans in the diaspora.
She stressed the importance of equipping young Kenyans with the skills needed to compete effectively on a global scale.
Hon. Lelmengit emphasized the vital role of youth in Kenya’s economic development and expressed interest in collaborating with the State Department for Diaspora Affairs to identify opportunities for young people both domestically and internationally.
The MP was accompanied by Ms. Eunice Sugut, a member of the Kenyan diaspora in Finland.
