Thursday, November 13, 2025(Riyadh)__Amb. Isaiya Kabira, Secretary for Diaspora Investments, Skills and Entrepreneurship, accompanied Amb. Mohammed Ruwange, the Ambassador of Kenya to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in paying a courtesy visit to the Ministry of the National Guard Health Affairs-MNGHA, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
During the meeting with the Director General, Corporate Services, discussions focused on strengthening collaboration in the health sector, with particular attention to expanding opportunities for Kenyan healthcare professionals in the Kingdom.
Amb. Ruwange commended the Ministry for its continued partnership and the supportive environment that enables Kenyan professionals to thrive.
He reaffirmed the Embassy’s commitment to advancing bilateral relations and fostering mutually beneficial cooperation in the health sector.
Amb. Kabira highlighted Kenya’s sustained investment in education and human capital, noting that the country’s greatest strength lies in its people. He emphasized that knowledge exchange and continuous learning remain central to Kenya’s and the Kingdom’s shared growth and development.
The Kenyan team also met Kenyan healthcare workers serving at the Ministry, who shared their positive experiences. They spoke about their exposure to modern medical technology and the valuable expertise they are gaining, as they laid emphasis on skills and technology transfer.
Both sides agreed to explore structured frameworks for skills transfer and professional development, ensuring that Kenyan healthcare practitioners continue to benefit from the Kingdom’s advanced health systems while supporting local capacity building upon their return.
The visit reaffirmed the strong and growing partnership between Kenya and Saudi Arabia in the area of healthcare cooperation, underscoring the shared vision of enhancing the well-being of citizens through excellence, innovation, and collaboration in medical practice.
