DIASPORA AFFAIRS PS MEETS GLOBAL OPPORTUNITIES COMMITTEE OF THE ATLANTA BLACK CHAMBERS DELEGATION(GOC/ABC)

Wednesday, August 13, 2025(UPPER HILL, NAIROBI)__Earlier today, PS Roseline K. Njogu, CBS, met with a delegation from the Global Opportunities Committee of the Atlanta Black Chambers (GOC/ABC), led by Chairman Mr. Ricardo Berrís.

The meeting centered on exploring opportunities for collaboration aimed at facilitating greater access and active participation of the Kenyan diaspora in the U.S. commercial sector.

The discussions highlighted key initiatives from Diaspora Affairs, including the Diaspora Placement Agency (DPA), which enhances job visibility and aligns employer demands with qualified Kenyan talent.

The delegation was also informed about the Diaspora Investment Support Office (DISO), a comprehensive resource that connects investors with the appropriate government agencies and regulatory bodies, ensuring a smooth and supported investment experience.

A major focus was bridging the divide between innovative ideas and their commercialization for Kenyan entrepreneurs, emphasizing the need to strengthen their capacity to raise and manage capital effectively.
