PCS MUDAVADI MEETS ALLINA HEALTH ORGANIZATION TEAM AHEAD OF THE UROLOGY MEDICAL CAMP

Monday, July 21, 2025(NAIROBI)__H.E. Dr. Musalia Mudavadi, Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, joined by Diaspora Affairs Principal Secretary Ms. Roseline K. Njogu, met with Mr. Badrinath Konety, President of Allina Health, and Mr. Frederick Bw’ombongi, Vice President(Operations) at Allina Health, at the Railway Headquarters in Nairobi.
The Allina Health delegation is in Kenya to lead a team of doctors during a Urology medical camp scheduled to take place at Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral and Research Hospital (KUTRRH) from July 21st to 25th, 2025.
This camp seeks to provide essential urological care to under-served communities and will also serve as a platform for skills and knowledge exchange, mentorship, and international collaboration.
The initiative is a flagship project under the Diaspora Skills, Knowledge, and Technology Exchange Programme.
The US-based team was accompanied by a delegation from KUTRRH, led by Dr. Caroline Ngugi, Director and Head of Training and Research.
Allina Health is one of Minnesota’s largest non-profit healthcare systems, operating more than 100 specialty care facilities.
Earlier on, the delegation paid a courtesy visit to Diaspora Affairs PS Roseline K. Njogu and Medical Services PS, Dr. Ouma Oluga.
