KENYA DIASPORA RETURNEES PAY A COURTESY VISIT TO PS NJOGU

Thursday, July 17, 2025(NAIROBI)__Ms. Rose Namusasi, a Kenyan academic coordinator based in Saudi Arabia, Ms. Leah Mburu, a diaspora returnee from Saudi Arabia, and Mr. Peter Ndua, a diaspora returnee from the USA and CEO of Kusini Coffee, paid a courtesy visit to the Principal Secretary for Diaspora Affairs, Ms. Roseline K. Njogu, at the State Department for Diaspora Affairs.

Diaspora welfare and management was discussed as well as leveraging the newly established Diaspora Investment Support Office (DISO) to boost diaspora investment and support reintegration. The visitors expressed their appreciation to the State Department for the Mobile Consular Services (MCS) and conveyed their interest in investing in sectors such as the Affordable Housing Projects.

The PS reaffirmed the State Department’s commitment to protecting, engaging, empowering, and advancing the welfare of the Kenya diaspora.

Ms. Emma Gicheha, Director in charge of Welfare and Rights Division and Ms. Velma Mudibo, FSO were in attendance.
