Thursday, May 15, 2025(BRASILIA)__H.E Dr. Musalia Mudavadi, Prime Cabinet Secretary (PCS) and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, graced the diaspora engagement event in Brasília, Brazil.

Speaking at the event, the PCS commended Kenyans in Brazil for their dedication and excellence in their respective fields, noting that their efforts continue to elevate the Kenyan flag on the global stage.

He reminded the diaspora community that they are no longer mere spectators but active contributors shaping Kenya’s socio-economic transformation and future development.

The Prime CS, Dr. Mudavadi, highlighted the Government’s recognition of their achievements, which led to the establishment of the Jamhuri Diaspora Awards launched in December last year. He also encouraged the diaspora to seize the expanding investment opportunities within Kenya’s growing economy for their own benefit and the nation’s progress.

The event was attended by Kenya’s Ambassador to Brazil, Dr. Andrew Karanja; Amb. Lucy Kiruthu, Acting Director General of Political and Diplomatic Affairs; Amb.
