Wednesday, April 16, 2025__PS Roseline K. Njogu presented a lecture titled “The Role of Diaspora in National Security” to the 27th Cohort of the National Defence College of Kenya.

The audience was largely drawn from military and government officials of diverse nationalities.

During her presentation, PS Njogu emphasized the increasing significance of diaspora communities as a strategic resource for enhancing national security, promoting development, and strengthening global influence.

She illustrated how Kenyan diaspora members, often leading in global interactions, use their extensive networks to identify new opportunities and advance national interests internationally.

Her remarks align with the primary objective of the State Department for Diaspora Affairs(SDDA) to integrate the Kenyan diaspora into the national development framework comprehensively.
