DIASPORA AFFAIRS PS MEETS JAPAN’S AMBASSADOR TO KENYA

Monday, March 10, 2025(NAIROBI)__Diaspora Affairs PS Roseline K. Njogu, CBS, met H.E Hiroshi Matsuura, Ambassador of Japan to Kenya to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two nations.
The discussions focused on enhancing labor mobility, fostering deeper people-to-people relations, and facilitating the transfer of knowledge, skills, and technology, with the goal of creating more opportunities for Kenyans and Japanese nationals.
Both parties expressed interest in increased collaboration and committed to advancing engagements in key areas of mutual interest.
The meeting further reaffirmed the long-standing diplomatic ties between Kenya and Japan, and their dedication to building a sustainable and dynamic partnership for the future.
Present in the meeting were Amb. Isaiya Kabira (Secretary-Investments and Entrepreneurship), Ms. Irene Karari (Director and Head-Skills and Expertise), Ms. Ruth Kitonyi (Ass. Dir.-Skills and Expertise), Ms. Velma Mudibo (FSO), and Ms. Deborah Jemutai (FSO).
