Saturday, November 22, 2025(PERTH)__In appreciation of the Kenya Diaspora enterprise abroad during her work visit to Australia, Diaspora Affairs PS, Ms. Roseline Kathure Njogu, CBS, visited Swell Service PTN LTD in Perth, Australia, a diaspora-owned enterprise led by Mr. Dennis Langat, a Kenya Diaspora leader in Western Australia during her work visit to the region.

The discussions focused on how Kenyan professionals can secure dignified, well-regulated employment abroad by leveraging the skills they already possess and the trusted networks built by the diaspora.

In her remarks, the Principal Secretary emphasized that diaspora-led ventures remain crucial in setting higher standards for ethical labour mobility, skills recognition and in driving meaningful skills and knowledge transfer that strengthens Kenya’s own professional capacity. 

PS Njogu also encouraged the diaspora to continue investing in Kenya and assured them of Government support through the Diaspora Investment Support Office (DISO).

The visit also allowed Kenyan staff to share their experiences, welfare considerations and the professional benefits they have gained.

Present in the meeting included Amb. Dr. Wilson Kogo, Kenya’s High Commissioner to Australia and Mr. Fred Eshikuta, Deputy Head of Mission.
