Friday, November 21, 2025(AUSTRALIA)__On her working tour in Australia, Diaspora Affairs PS, Ms. Roseline Kathure Njogu, CBS, conducted a strategic visit to Options Education Agency in Perth, Australia, as part of her ongoing engagement with Kenyan diaspora-led institutions in the country.
The agency, founded by Ms. Hellen Meria, a Kenyan in the diaspora, offers migration-related advisory services to students and professionals, with offices in Perth, Adelaide and Nairobi.
PS Njogu, accompanied by Kenya’s High Commissioner to Australia, Dr. Wilson Kogo, noted that the meeting underscored the State Department’s commitment to strengthening partnerships that advance safe migration, diaspora empowerment and access to global opportunities for Kenyans.
Both parties also explored potential collaborations between Options Education Agency, Visa Pass Migration, and the Diaspora Placement Agency. These partnerships aim to tap into Australia’s labour market and expand pathways for employment, skills transfer and professional growth for Kenya’s youthful and highly skilled workforce.
PS Njogu commended the entrepreneurial leadership of Kenyans in the diaspora, noting that agencies such as Options Education play a crucial role in shaping ethical migration practices and ensuring that Kenyan students and workers access accurate information and credible support.
The visit reaffirmed the State Department’s commitment to deepening diaspora engagement and building robust networks that strengthen Kenya’s global footprint
