On Wednesday, February 19, 2025, Hon. Rindikiri Mugambi, Member of Parliament for Buuri Constituency, paid a courtesy visit to PS Roseline K. Njogu. During their meeting, they discussed potential  areas for collaborations aimed at fostering and promoting labor mobility, diaspora investment, and economic development.

 

PS Njogu and Hon. Rindikiri also explored government initiatives focused on up-skilling the youth, which are designed to equip young people with the necessary skills to compete effectively in the global labor market. The PS emphasized the importance of enhancing training programs to align with the evolving global demands.

One such program is the Ujuzi Mashinani program—a vocational training initiative in partnership with TVET institutions that aims to provide grassroots-level skills training to foster sustainable employment and entrepreneurship among the youth.
