Thursday, September 25, 2025 (HOMA BAY) __Diaspora Affairs PS, Ms. Roseline K. Njogu, alongside Interior PS Raymond Omollo, today met the first cohort of students at the Tom Mboya University enrolled in a German language program.
The over 600 students, sponsored courtesy of PS Omollo, are in the final phase of preparation for the B1 German exam—a mandatory step for working in Germany.
PS Njogu addressed the students, highlighting the significant opportunities in Germany for skilled Kenyan youth. This initiative is a direct result of the comprehensive labour mobility agreement signed between Kenya and Germany during H.E President William Samoei Ruto,Ph.D 2024 visit to Berlin.
The PS was accompanied by Mr. Pius Ongoo from the German Embassy, Dr Monika Erath, Head of the German Chamber of Commerce in Kenya and East Africa, and Ms. Irene Karari, Director and in-charge of the Skills and Expertise Division.
