SUCCESSFUL UROLOGY MEDICAL CAMP HELD AT KUTTRH

Friday, July 25, 2025(NAIROBI)__Ms. Irene Karari, Director in Charge of the Skills and Expertise Division, represented Diaspora Affairs PS Roseline K. Njogu,CBS, at the exit meeting and appreciation luncheon commemorating the successful urology medical camp held at Kenyatta University Teaching,Research and Referral Hospital-KUTRRH.

This collaborative initiative brought together a Kenyan diaspora medical team from Minnesota, USA, led by Dr. Badrinath Konety, President of the Allina Health Cancer Institute, and Frederick Bw’Ombongi, Vice President of Operations – Ancillary, Telehealth & Support Services at Allina Health, alongside the State Department for Diaspora Affairs and KUTRRH to deliver essential urological care.

Building on this success, all partners committed to broadening the camp’s scope to address a wider range of healthcare needs for Kenyan citizens. Ms. Karari was accompanied by Ms. Anne Mruche, Asst. Dir., and Mr. Philip Opwora, Foreign Service Officer, at the event.
