FOREIGN AFFAIRS PRINCIPAL SECRETARY’S ADDRESS TO FOREIGN SERVICE CADETS

Tuesday, July 15, 2025(NAIROBI)__Foreign Affairs Principal Secretary Dr. Korir Sing’oei has urged foreign service cadets to embrace innovation and creativity in tackling contemporary diplomatic challenges.

Speaking to young diplomats drawn from the State Department for Diaspora Affairs during their mandatory induction training, the PS encouraged them to approach their duties with charisma and to continually expand their knowledge of current affairs.

PS Sing'oei emphasized the need for cadets to be ready to navigate the ever-changing landscape of international relations and to take initiative in advancing and representing Kenya’s interests globally. He also underscored the vital role they will play in protecting the rights and welfare of Kenyans abroad, highlighting the increasing significance of diaspora diplomacy in the country’s foreign policy.

 Commending the officers for committing to serve in this dynamic and demanding field, PS Korir expressed confidence in the abilities and potential of these junior diplomats. #DeliveringAsOne #StrongerTogether
