Official communications between the Government of Kenya and foreign Governments, missions and organizations;

Represent Kenya’s trade and investment interests abroad.

Coordinate Kenya’s participation in economic, financial and sustainable development processes at national and bilateral levels

Coordinate negotiations and signing of international treaties, bilateral frameworks including MOUs and agreements

Coordinate on the implementation of the agreements, MOUs and other frameworks including monitoring and evaluation.

Coordinate protocol services and provide advice on protocol procedure and practices.
